Set in the heart of the Kent countryside, this new family home has been thoughtfully designed to combine timeless character with the comfort and functionality of modern family living. At its centre is a carefully considered palette of natural materials, with bespoke oak details woven throughout the interiors to bring warmth, texture and a sense of craftsmanship to every space.

The Paddocks was a particularly special project for us. Our client was developing a plot of land to create a bespoke forever home for himself and his family. From the outset, it was important to them that the property incorporated traditional timber craftsmanship and natural oak detailing, while still benefiting from the modern performance and design possibilities of a new build.

Our director worked directly with the client throughout the design process, taking their ideas, requirements and aspirations and translating them into a carefully considered carpentry package.

Two bespoke oak porches, including a grand entrance porch and side porch
Custom-designed trusses to the balconies

Full bespoke interior carpentry and fit-out

Every element was designed to work harmoniously with the architecture of the home, combining traditional craftsmanship with clean, contemporary detailing.

Amazing carpentry business. My job was low level for Rob who is a master carpenter. I was in awe of some of the work he’d previously done but I was theilled with my kitchen work surfaces and it does show that no job is too small even though I believe Town Carpentry are even designing and making Shepherds Huts!
